Today was our last day of our High Country camp. And it seemed like summer had also come to an end!

We were so fortunate to have such great weather for all our walks during the last week. Today the weather closed in. The wind blew and the clouds descended obscuring all views of the surrounding mountains. Packing was done in haste before we all carefully drove down the mountain and made it safely home.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Walkabouter's blogspot. Yes, a small party of Walkabouters did make the "Room with a View" hike. They had quite an adventure, taking in the views to the surrounding hills and valley and enjoying the abundance of wild flowers. Still waiting on the photos to come in and the yarn about their adventure.
